Ladli Lakshmi Scheme was started on 7 April 2007 in six states Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Goa. Already 20 lakh girl children in Madhya Pradesh have benefited from the scheme. The families below the poverty line can apply for this scheme.

Under this Madhya Pradesh Ladli Laxmi scheme government will buy a National Savings Certificate of Rs.6000 per year for five years in the name of the applicant.
The applicant will get Rs 2,000 when she takes admission in class 6th. Rs 4,000 will be given on admission in the 9th class. Rs 7500 will be given on the admission of the 11th class. After the admission Rs, 200/Month will be given. If the girl (Applicant) is unmarried after 18 years. Then Govt will provide 1 Lakh rupees for her marriage.

- The applicant should a resident of Madhya Pradesh.

How The Benefits Will Be Provided
First Installment – After this, after taking admission in class 6, financial assistance of Rs 2000 will be given to the family.
Second Installment – On taking admission in class 9 Rs 4000 will be provided.
Third Installment – When the girl child takes admission in 11th class then she will be provided an amount of Rs.6000.
Fourth Installment – Rs 6000 will be given for entering the 12th class.
Fifth Installment – And when the girl child turns 21 and if she till unmarried, then she will get the financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh.
